Swelling on neck and bloated stomach question.

I had to stop Cytoxan when WBC got to 1.7. It was re-started after four days when WBC rebounded to over 4. Rebound may have been partly due to body gearing up to fight a bladder infection. Prednisone dosage is 60 mg day.
My family noticed I recently developed (in past 10 days) a noticeable double chin and lumps under jaw. It seemed to grow in size till there was lump on lower throat area over larynx which was sore to touch. At the same time the back of my neck became swollen and felt inflamed. The ER doctor didn't know what is causing the swelling but did say Wegener's is an inflammatory disorder that is chronic and manifests itself in various ways. He also thought such symptoms could come from the Prednisone meds or a reaction to one of many other meds I am taking. After my ER visit I noticed a few hours later that my stomach had become bloated and sore to touch in a couple areas.
My internist said my lab results from blood work indicated no serious problems but there was an indication of inflammation. He said there was no suggestion he could see of any dangerous condition likely to cause my throat swelling shut or damage to ability to swallow or talk. He offered no suggestions on how to reduce swelling but did offer some Ativan PRN to help me worry less about these new symptoms.
Has anyone else experience such symptoms? I will see rheumatologist in three weeks who is adjusting my Cytoxan medicine and Prednisone.
